In business since 1993, Gray Whale Trading Co. has its roots in surfing and sea kayaking, as well as oceansports in general. Evolution through our years of business has landed us at the forefront of the paddleboarding and stand up paddling arenas, but still very much involved in sea kayaking. We are dealers for quality paddleboards, stand up boards and paddles, sea kayaks, and basic accessories for each of these. Additionally, we are partners with Chesapeake Light Craft (CLC) in the creation of wood kit paddleboards, stand up boards, and in the promotion of their many other fine small craft wood kits. Our company has been built on outstanding customer service, and we don’t sell anything we don’t use.
Sailing Tip
Watch for power boats, ships, towboats with barges and all other water craft. Make yourself visible and never assume you have been seen or have the right of way.
